My Review

I've only had a chance to read Valentine Hound Dog by Rachelle Ayala, but this one story is worth more than the asking price of the entire set! You can't go wrong! Here's what I thought: Beauty is only skin deep... for both the beauty and the beast.

Jenna Hart is a hard-working fashion designer trying to pull off the first solo show of her life. Larry Davison is a former firefighter who has hidden himself away because of the scars over 50% of his body. Both make assumptions about the other, but things on the outside aren't always what they seem.

I really enjoyed this story. I particularly liked the twist of Jenna's problems and the way she is actually different from the impression people have of her, but she hides that from them. Larry is a sweet, loyal, wonderful man. He has problems of his own to work out, but he really is a hero in every sense of the word and a great book boyfriend!

It was also fun to read this book because I read Christmas Lovebirds before, which was the story of Jenna's sister (although I don't think it matters what order you read the books in, each is a complete story). I hope to see more from the Hart family! Great read!
