#NewRelease ~ Oceans of Trouble ~ Book 2 of Tyler's Trouble Trilogy/Humor/Navy

Going to sea is an escape from reality,
unless reality comes with you

****

Exotic ports, alluring women, and experiencing adventures on the other side of the world sounds ideal. After a drunken bet goes wrong, Tyler Chambers boards his US Navy frigate and looks forward to leaving the pressures of the real world behind and slip into a cocoon of escapism. In and out of port in a few days is the perfect way to avoid responsibility. He is happy to live his life as a stereotypical sailor and look for a girl in every port with hysterical consequences.

What he doesn't count on is a psychotic shipmate trying to kill him. Or his commanding officer out to lock him up for an illicit affair. Letters coming to and leaving the ship hold key evidence against Tyler, proof he must keep out of the Captain's hands at all costs. Will Tyler be able to find an ally who can keep him out of trouble? Or will he crash and burn at the hands of sinister shipmates?

Danger lurks in every port and his time at sea is a fight for survival. There is no escape when sailing in Oceans of Trouble.

Short Excerpt:

I opened my arms. "But I didn't do anything."

"Then go tell the Captain if you ain't got nothin' to be afraid of. I'm sure he don't mind you kicking his wife in the face and stealing his daughter's panties, just 'cause you tried to win a hundred bucks off some colored boy." He flashed his teeth.

I suddenly dreaded what was going to be my escape from reality. I thought all my problems were left behind at the mouth of Pearl Harbor. Now they were much closer than I ever imagined possible.

About the author
Travis was born and raised in Mid West America, living in eight cities in five states by the time he was eighteen. He joined the US Navy and spent four years in Hawaii, then five years in Scotland before jumping the metaphorical ship. He and his Australian wife moved to Seattle for two years, but returned to the United Kingdom in 1992 and took up residency in the South East of England where he has remained ever since.

His writing career began with writing mostly non-fiction articles on the website http://helium.com but he was always attracted to those topics under humor and creative writing. Many of his articles have been highly rated and it became a hobby as well as an obsession to write. He turned to writing fiction to allow more creativity. He has written two novels in the series of Tyler's Trouble Trilogy. Trouble Triangle followed by Oceans of Trouble. The third novel in the series is due out late in 2013.

I've been waiting for this book! So excited that it's finally available. If you missed my earlier interview with Travis Casey and the star of Tyler's Trouble Trilogy, Tyler Chambers, you can find that here.

Also, if you missed the first book in the trilogy, it is on sale http://www.amazon.com/Trouble-Triangle-Tylers-Trilogy-ebook/dp/B00ACMBAW8/ and you can read my review on it here.

Happy reading, my friends! I know I'll be up late tonight laughing at more of Tyler's antics.
